Happy New Year!

Everyone wishes for a home for the holidays; but especially those without a place to go from the start. It's been a record breaking holiday adoption season making it a worthy cause for celebration. (This of course, meant adding something special on Christmas day for everyone in the puppy wing: a bounty of holiday toys, extra chew toys and treats followed by rounds of tail wagging and a chorus of squeaker toys!) From waif to wonderful - on giving new leashes on life and to the families finding new love in their canine companions who fit right in; each one is a miracle!

To the compassionate folks we are lucky to work with and our Lil' Waif extended family that continues to grow, many thanks for helping create such happy endings and a record one for 2009!

Watch the slideshow to see some of Lil' Waif's alumni pups. Here's to celebrating the pups that win us over. Happy New Year.

Happy New Year! Pip (the pup from the Yakima litter we adopted in September) is doing great--well and happy. An intelligent, active pup. Hope all is well with you.
